Conference - Exhibition Vietnam Finance 2013

 (CPV) - Conference - Exhibition Vietnam Finance 2013 opens in Hanoi on August 27. This annual event is co-organized by the Vietnam's Ministry of Finance and International Data Group (IDG Vietnam).

Serving as a helpful networking platform and a hub of information sharing on ICT solutions. The end-goal of the event is to engage technology in leveraging the operation of finance sector, which is also an ultimate goal of Vietnam E-government’s development.

The 10th event with the theme “Reinforcing national financial supervision: policy and technology initiatives” promises to generate thorough insights into the current financial supervision situation in Vietnam, so as to keep participants posted on new technology solutions that assist the national finance stabilization, which is one of the top priorities to deploy E-government in the nation.

Financial supervision system selection and construction have always played a challenge for any government. Vietnam is also coping with many different opinion towards the built-up of the integrated system or continue to improve and enhance to ability of current function.

"Considered as critical solutions in leveraging the operation of the integrated financial supervision system, how to adjust current policies and engage information technologies in Vietnam finance sector will be discussed this year. It welcomed honored speakers and panelists, who are senior Government leaders and technology experts from biggest reputed corporations in the world. There are one keynote session and two panel sessions with deeper discussions", said Mr Le Thanh Tam, CEO and Chairman of IDG ASEAN.

Keynote “Improving macro financial supervision capabilities and leveraging modern technology to drive growth in public finance sector” chaired by Mr Pham Sy Danh - Vice Minister of Finance, has brought an overview over the operation of national financial supervision in Vietnam.

Mr. Vu Nhu Thang, Director of National Institute of Finance (Ministry of Finance) will chair session 1 tilted “Reinforcing national financial supervision: policy initiatives”, and Mr. Pham Cong Minh, Deputy Director General, Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics (Ministry of Finance) will chair session 2 under the theme “Reinforcing national financial supervision: technology initiatives”

Besides the conference, Vietnam Finance 2013 also offers participants the chance to gain hands-on experience on the newest technology solutions introduced and presented by world leading technology corporations and experts during the exhibition.

Many modern technologies in the field of tax and custom that aims to increase the interactivity between citizens, companies and government will also be available for visitors./.
